Students Preparing for Paris Forum

Student Council Fellows from around the world are finishing their research work with faculty members and preparing for sharing what they have learned at the Forum in Paris Nov 16-17. Tuck Council Fellows have been examining gender on boards and the effect of media scrutiny on CEO effectiveness. Keio Fellows have looked at the role of employees in the governance of Japanese companies while the ESSEC Council Fellow has investigated shareholders’ power and responsibilities, and the Fudan Council Fellow has focused on board dynamics in Chinese publicly traded companies.

Pat Palmiotto is Executive Director of Center for Business & Society at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. The Center works to increase understanding and dialogue about issues at the intersection of business and society. Started in 2001, the Center is an integral component of the Tuck School enriching the MBA program, sharing knowledge with others, and supporting faculty research. Prior to Tuck, she worked in the fields of management consulting and education.
